WHY COLOSTRUM?
NATURE MADE IT FOR A REASON.
Colostrum is unlike everyday milk. Produced to nourish baby goats during their earliest days, it contains a concentrated combination of vitamins, immunoglobulins (antibodies), proteins, peptides, and other bioactive compounds.
This remarkable concentration of nourishment is what makes colostrum so extraordinary, with value that extends far beyond those first days.

WHY GOAT?
RARE BY NATURE.
Goat colostrum is produced for only a brief period after birth and in much smaller quantities than cow colostrum, making it a naturally limited ingredient.
Goat dairy also differs from cow dairy, with smaller fat globules, a distinct fatty-acid profile, and its own balance of milk proteins. These natural differences are what we like to call a softer kind of dairy.

Founded in the Czech Republic in 2010 by practicing physician Dr. Radan Gocal and his longtime friend Jan Halla, Betula grew from their shared interest in bovine colostrum. Their conversations led to a simple question: what about goat colostrum?
That question began nearly three years of research with Czech scientific and academic institutions, studying colostrum, its composition, preservation, and processing. What they learned helped shape the way Betula is made today.

OUR STORY
IT ALL STARTED WITH AN EXTRAORDINARY DISCOVERY.
It all started with an extraordinary discovery in Europe, while I was visiting my family at home in the Czech Republic. That was where I discovered Betula.
I already knew what colostrum was, but I hadn’t realized I could buy it and make it part of my morning care.
I was drawn to the care behind it, as well as its purity. The closer I looked, the more invested I became. It is gently freeze-dried to preserve its bioactive compounds, then hand-filled into capsules without fillers or additives. Pure colostrum in powder form, sometimes called “biological gold.
As a mom, I put that same care into what I choose for my son. I look for pure ingredients and thoughtful products for our everyday well-being. Choosing something natural matters to me, but so does knowing there is substance behind the promise.
I knew I had to introduce it to you. Bringing Betula to the United States grew out of that personal discovery and a wish to share it.
